Corporate carpooling

Help your employees share the commute

Many employees already travel the same roads to the same office at the same time. Sawari helps colleagues find each other and share those journeys.

What corporate carpooling with Sawari looks like

Why companies look at employee carpooling

Sawari doesn't publish estimates of savings or emissions it hasn't measured. Any programme figures should come from your own participation data.

How to start

  1. Talk to us. Email support@sawaarii.in with your office locations and team size.
  2. Agree verification and privacy. Decide how employees are verified and what aggregated reporting you need.
  3. Launch internally. Use the practices in our employee carpooling guide.

Programmes must follow the transport rules where your offices are. Sawari is not for commercial transport, and shared contributions apply only where lawful.

Frequently asked questions

Can my company use Sawari for employee carpooling?

Companies, mobility partners and organisations can talk to Sawari about employee carpooling. Corporate features can include corporate email and employee verification, and any reporting to a company should use aggregated or appropriately limited information — Sawari should not expose an employee’s precise home location to their employer or colleagues.

How does Sawari verify users?

Where applicable, Sawari may verify user, employee and vehicle information — for example a corporate email address or employee verification for corporate features, and licence, vehicle and insurance information for drivers. Verification lowers risk, but no platform can guarantee how another person will behave.

How do shared contributions work?

Where applicable, Sawari may facilitate a shared contribution associated with a shared journey; how it is calculated and collected can vary by service. Sawari is not for commercial transportation, and users must follow the transport, licensing, tax and insurance rules that apply where they travel.
