We may process location when:
- finding nearby journeys;
- providing pickup assistance;
- navigating an active journey;
- sharing an active journey where enabled;
- providing safety functionality;
- responding to SOS;
- investigating safety incidents;
- preventing fraud or misuse where permitted.
Background location
Sawari should not continuously track users simply because the app is installed.
Background/live location should be enabled only where necessary for a relevant feature and subject to operating-system permission and applicable law.
Location sharing
A user's precise live location should be disclosed only to authorized recipients for the relevant purpose.
For example: Active trip → authorized trip participants, not: Every Sawari user → everyone's location.
