• pickup point;

• journey date;

Background or live location will be used only where necessary for an enabled feature and subject to applicable permissions and law.

Such providers may process information only as necessary for the services they provide to Sawari and subject to appropriate contractual or legal controls.

4. Corporate Customers

If Sawari operates a corporate mobility program, the applicable corporate customer may receive certain information about its participating employees or aggregated mobility activity.

The scope depends on the corporate programme and applicable permissions.

Sawari should not expose private information such as another employee's precise home location merely because they belong to the same company.

Corporate reporting should generally use aggregated or appropriately limited information unless a specific disclosure is necessary, authorized and lawful.

5. Commercial Data Use

Sawari does not sell personal data to third parties as a general business practice.

We may use aggregated, anonymized or de-identified information to understand mobility patterns, improve our services, measure platform performance, develop mobility insights and support business operations, where permitted by applicable law.

If Sawari proposes to use personal data for a new purpose that requires consent, we will provide the notice and obtain consent required by applicable law.

6. Data Deletion

Your data is yours.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time through the applicable Sawari privacy controls or by contacting us.

We will process your request in accordance with applicable law.

Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, including information necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, financial records, dispute resolution or safety investigations.

7. Website and Beta Programme

This section describes what the sawaarii.in website collects. It applies in addition to the sections above.

Beta sign-up form

When you join the Sawari beta on our website, we collect:

• full name;
• mobile number;
• email address;
• city (optional);
• company or organisation (optional);
• whether you are interested in riding, offering rides or both;
• anything you choose to tell us in the message field (optional);
• whether you agreed to receive beta-related communications.

We use these details only to run the beta programme: to review sign-ups, contact you about the beta, and plan where and how the beta runs. Joining the beta does not create a Sawari account.

Sign-ups are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, operated for us by Google as part of Firebase. Access is restricted to authorised Sawari administrators.

Security and spam prevention

To protect the form from abuse, we process your IP address in a one-way hashed form to limit repeated submissions. These hashed records are short-lived and are not linked to your sign-up. Where enabled, Firebase App Check (using Google reCAPTCHA) helps confirm that requests come from our website.

Analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics through Firebase to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and whether the beta form was completed. We do not send your name, email address, mobile number or message to analytics. If you reject analytics cookies, no analytics data is collected.

Your choices

You can change your cookie choice at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the website footer. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your beta sign-up at any time by emailing support@sawaarii.in.
